Presbyterian
Presbyterian studies through faith-based recovery programs focus on the teaching of major lifestyle changes for long term recovery of drug addiction. Drug addictions affect everyone around you and can harm your mental health as well as your physical health. As an inpatient you will receive a wide range of support to help you through each day. Teaching the faith-based Christian way of spiritual healing, the staff of counselors will make you feel comfortable from the first moment of your arrival. You are encouraged to learn why you have an addiction and how to change the negative surroundings in your life. Learning to have faith in yourself and others that are trying to support you will give you a strong foundation for recovery.
Recovery program
Withdrawing from the drugs is your first step and the professional staff at your recovery program will be with you every step of the way. You’ll gain a new perspective on how to change your life through hope, faith, and changing the way you think and feel. You will learn positive thinking and how to handle everyday problems to become a productive member in your community. Your counselors at the Presbyterian studies inpatient program will help you through the guilt and shame of your addiction, and lift your spirits with faith and understanding that you can succeed as a well-rounded person in life.
Meditation and spiritual lectures play a large role in recovery in all of the in-house programs at a Presbyterian studies center. Programs are designed for each individual to assure your success in a full and permanent recovery. Each program will enhance the teachings of faith as well as learning how to communicate, confront your problems daily, and regain control over your life.
